Where can I buy capacitors & other electronics components near Washington DC (in small quantities, not bulk)?

I want a recommendation for a "brick and mortar" store that has a good variety and inventory of electronics components on hand in the store. I am looking for a place in or near downtown Washington, DC. Radio Shack is not sufficient. If you've walked into one lately, it's clear that low-level circuit components are no longer their specialty. I don't want to know about online or mail-order stores. I want a place that will also sell me just 1 or 2 components at a time (no bulk purchase required). Thanks
