Do you have to pay this stimulis rebate money back? No. You do not have to pay the money back that you receive from the Stimulus Rebate, but you will have to declare the Rebate on your 2008 return and pay tax on it. No. (At least in theory, if you actually pay taxes) You have already paid this money in taxes, and it is being refunded back to you - it's like a tax cut, just temporary instead of permanent (the Dems won't let us make the cuts permanent). If you are refering to President Bush's Economic Stimulus Rebate Check, the answer is no. Just file your 2007 taxes. It's just sad , we've to pay taxes on something they've giving to us ....when actually Nothing is FREE ......... No, you won't have to pay it back. No. |
