What is a safe number to pick for tax withholdings? I usaully choose 0 but because my money is getting tight?

how can I adjust this and what is a safe number to get more money now?

If you are single, don't itemize, and can't be claimed as a dependent, you can claim 2 allowances and still get a small refund. If you claim 3, then you will owe.

i have always had 10% with held and at tax time ,always got a refund. I call this my vacation money.If things are realy hard u can go with 5% of earnings.
