Will We Receive Our Economic Stimulus Check? |
My husband & I pay every month on our back taxes. Each year we are to get a refund the IRS keeps it & applies it to our back tax year. This year we qualify to recieve the $1200 rebate check. I wondering if the IRS will keep it or if they will issue it so we can help 'stimulate' the economy. Thank you for your time. They'll keep the stimulus payment and apply it to what you owe. Think about this now. They keep all your refunds to offset what you owe, why would they not also keep your stimulus to place against what you owe? When you owe the government they will take any and all money that you might have coming from them. You won't be stimulating the economy, but you will be stimulating the government |
