I mailed out my papers for my taxes a month ago?

How long does it take to get my return? Is there a number i could call and talk to someone? I really need the money !!

check IRS website www.irs.gov "where's my refund" or call 1-800-829-1954.

If you still have your tax preparation booklet issued by internal revenue look up the number there. Otherwise, go to the government website & look for the number to call.

got the state refund, but still waiting on the federal.

To get your refund, you mean - 4-8 weeks or so. Relax.
