do anyone have an idea when irs will be sending the 2nd letters about the specifics of when and how much to expect your rebate check to be?has anyone gotten the 2nd letter yet,and has anyone heard that u may get rebate direct deposit even b4 u actually get the letter,if so that will be great.

its been said that they will be out about a week before they checks are mailed. call 1800 tax 1040 they will tell you exact date you will recieve your check if you are getting it and were direct deposited. http://kiplinger.com/features/archives/2...
go to the website you will get an estimate on the amount. and if you werent direct deposited it will tell you when your check will be mailed to you

I don't think we will be getting a second letter! All I know is that the IRS definitely does have a schedule they are following and have listed it on their website for getting your rebate: http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

We received the original first letter just talking about the rebate in general, but I am not expecting the second letter telling us the exact date of the direct deposit, although I may be surprised if it comes in the next week or two.

The IRS says the second letter, about the specifics, will come about a week before your rebate. You can calculate it yourself here http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/start.do and find the schedule here http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

You should receive the 2nd notice a week or so in advance of the release of your rebate payment.
