Why do americans get taxed soo much? |
is there a way to escape this predicament..LoL It's a popular myth that Americans are heavily taxed. We enjoy some of the lowest total taxes of all modern industrialized nations. Excluding 3rd world nations and "emerging economies" only Australia and Ireland levy lower income taxes than the US, and they more than make up for it with VERY high taxes on other items. TFTP Report It Americans are near the bottom of tax rates for industrialized nations. US is the only nation that taxes the working class at a higher rate (32.6% Fed + SSI + MED) than the elite wealthy (15% Capital Gains rate). Sorry you feel so cheated and believe the conservative lies. Actually we are taxed relatively little compared to other western nations. b/c the u.s.is one of the richest if not the richest countries in the world.that's why so many illegal aliens is dying to get here, for freedom and better economic benefits. Because the governor wants more money! |
