I did my taxes the same time as my boyfriend. We both e-filed within the same hour. He received his refund.?

He received his direct deposit today. I still have not received mine. What could be the problem? Should I be worried? IRS.gov says I should receive mine by 4/29.

If his bank processes ACH transactions in real time and yours batch processes at end of day, you'd see yours on Monday or Tuesday. It's also possible that his went in just before the cutoff for payment this week while yours went in just after the cutoff, resulting in yours coming a week later than his does.

You're welcome. TFTP. Report It

there may be nothing wrong....yours may simply be taking longer to process.....

or maybe you will get a paper check if you made a mistake on your direct deposit account.

or...who knows.....to many possibilities.

everyonegets theirs at different times depending on where you are, what your last name is, how complicated yours was compared to his, etc etc etc.....don't stress, it's only 2 weeks away

Did you sign up for direct deposit? If not, then there's nothing wrong, it's just that a paper check takes longer.
