Does someone getting SSI still qualify for the supplemental check(for boosting economy) if they filed late?

To get stimulus tax rebate you must have a minimum of $3,000 of qualifying income on your 2007 tax return. The SSI is not qualifying income.

SSI isn't eligible income for the stimulus check.

If what you really mean is Social Security (they are different even though SSI is also administered by the Social Security Administration people) then yes, if you qualify you'll still get it as long as you file by October 15, but it will be delayed and you won't get in on the published schedule, that's just if you filed on time.

Direct quote from the IRS website:

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) does not count as qualifying income for the stimulus payment.

SSI is not qualifying income for the rebate plan. Sorry.
