Is Social Security being fazed out as we speak?

As anyone on Social Security will tell you even though they get a bit more money each year it is far less then the cost of living. So yes the Federal SS system instead of being cut off at once is being fazed out and state aid is replacing it so to speak. The deal with State aid is you can have little assets in order to recieve it. So to live a decent life you will need assets outside of the Money system before you become disabled and have to live on state aid for some two years before you can get SS income started. Besides Gold and silver what some other things one could have to get monies out of your name.

unfortunately yes

yes it is. I don"T count on one penny of my ss investment. gl

yes

Pfft. I won't go away as you continue to have old folks who live off it. And Democrats to steal money from the people who earn it to give it to the old folks.

Hell yes it is and we are still paying for it, sons of female dogs

yes , you better sart saving and investing so you have something when your older! And retire

Yes, in the not to distant future.

Im currently trying to figure out how i can just go get my SS out now before some nimrod president decides to blow it on the stock market or donate it to the national debt.

i believe so, because the goverment is to busy sending all the money to other counties to help them, instead of taking care of the untied states of americans first

Social security was never designed to be enough to live on, although some people do. Even at the start it was set up to supplement your own savings for retirement.

No, it's not being phased out - in fact, increases are given every year.

Well, you have plenty of rants in response to your rant. And one good answer, from Judy.

I have no intention of tring to live off of my SS income when it comes. It will be a part of my retirement strategy but not even a major part of it. Anyone who expects it to be their sole support is kidding themselves since it was never intended to provide that in the first place.
