I had about 4000 dollers taken out towards federal income taxes. I am 21 and no dependents. My total pay was |
about 31000. Im tryin to get an idea of how much i should be gettin back. You can go to taxact.com and sign up online. This is inexpensive and you get your money back quickly. But you can also preview what you will get back before you send it. I have already done mine and all I have to wait for the deadline and hit send. Been with them for 3 years now. Your tax liability works out to about $2,946. If you have $4,000 in income taxes withheld you'll get back about $1,044 back. If you are not a dependent, your tax liability will be around $2950 so you'd get back the amount that you overpaid, a little over $1000. |
