Starting new work, and need help with W4, so i can get the biggest possible check w.o getting in trouble?

Ok so i am starting my new job next month and i need to fill out my W4. What are some of the tips i need to know to maximize my bi-weekly check and not get in trouble w the law ??

If you need help filling out the worksheet, call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040

It depends on your situation, like do you have children, do you own a home, or do you have any other jobs.

Follow the W-4 worksheets.

You don't give anywhere near enough info in your question for anyone to give any specific advice.

Review IRS Publication 15. That explains how taxes are withheld based upon your W-4 filing.

Basically, you should claim one allowance for every $3500 in planned deductions to come as close to breaking even as possible.
