Do you think a man is head of the household in 2007? On income tax? |
What % are mothers with children? Head of Household status isn't gender based, it's defined in law. You're welcome. TFTP. Report It Head of household is a term for a single (not married) individual who supports dependents. Any Male or Female can claim HoH reguardless of how much either made as long as they claim a dependant and are unmarried. If my g/f made less than me but I have other exemptions such as higher education credits it might be better for her to claim HoH and me just single. That way she gets HoH deduction and I get Life credits, ect. Head of Household is generally the person who makes the most money during the year, so yes, as of right now my husband is head of household. If he makes more money than his wife, yes. |
