What is with all the buzz going around about a new law with filing taxes this year? And no rapid refunds?? Is this an Illinois issue for state is it Federal anyone know? Been searching seeing nothing!

Congress kept changing things until 12/20. The IRS is recoding their programs as fast as they can. Some tax returns will be delayed until mid-February.

The delays will affect the economics of the "rapid refunds" since these were actually loans.
