Unemployed?

Haven't worked In six Months and haven't been drawing unemployment....how will this affect someones taxes?

jan c, I dont live off your taxes...my house is paid for and so is my truck..and everything else i own..work is hard to come by where i live so don't judge me!

You will only pay taxes on the income you did have.

Taxes are paid at a progressive rate so you may have a refund due.

Eg first $8750 isn't taxed, next $7825 is taxed at 10%, next $31K is at 15%....

Pretty obvious. If you don't work then you don't pay taxes. Don't tell how you do this and get by because I am tired of paying for those who live off my taxes.
