Do i need my w-2 forms to begin my rapid refund at h&r block jan.2nd?

Do i need my w-2 forms to begin my rapid refund at h&r block jan.2nd?

In order to actually file a tax return, you do have to have your reporting documents, such as W2's. However, at H&R Block, you can take your last pay stub in and they can "jump start" the return - put the information in, and give you an estimated refund. Then, when you get your w2's, you take them in and the preparer simply checks to make sure all the information matches and you can file the return.

If you need a short-term financial boost, you may want to see if you qualify for the Emerald Advance. This is a line of credit offered by H&R Block BEFORE you get your W2's. It can be paid down with your refund when you file before Feb 15th with your W2's. For more information, call your local office on Jan 2, or call 1-800-HRBLOCK.

I would asume so - You usualy need your w-2 to file taxes

Yes, you will need your forms.

Yes. Before Feb 15, no preparer can file your taxes without them.
