How to file a claim agianst an appriaser in the state of Ohio? |
If an appriaser will not finish an appriasal how or who can i file a claim to with the state? You failed to give a reason why they didnt finish! I assume it's a Real Estate appraiser? Unless you paid them they aren't obligated to finish anything. Check with your state as they get licensed through them(if there is an real issue). Why are you getting an appraisal anyway? It cant be for a loan since any FDIC ensured places will order their own appraisal through there approved appraiser. Hum.. If you paid via credit card dispute the charge if he didnt finish. If you haven't paid him then call another? There should be a state licensing board for appraisers. I would start with a complaint with them. They should be able to tell you the steps to take legal action. You could find the contact information on your state website, do a search on Ohio government license appraisers to start. If you file a complaint please use your spellchecker. |
