I have two fulltime jobs. How do I avoid overpaying CA SDI? |
I've already paid the maximum at one job, and am starting the 2nd job. There is a credit available on the California return for overpaid CA SDI. You don't pay CA SDI at 0.6%. It is your employer who will withhold SDI from your income. You don't have a choice. The employer also does not have a choice. You get the overpayment back when you file your state income tax return. |
