i did not make a copy of my tax returns and i filed on line.how can i get a copy of my return?? Did you try logging back to Turbo Tax and just reprinting the return again..? I have logged back in several times during the year, and the information is still there. No need to spend $39. irs.gov, form 4506-t And you get to pay $39 for that tax return. Isn't that enough reason to keep copies of your tax return. visit IRS website: www.irs.gov download Form 4506-T, IRS will send you a Return Transcript (FREE) which is a line by line of the information you filed. The transcript is usually sent to you 10-20 days If you want the copy of the actual return you filed then download Form 4506 and send $39.00 for a copy of your tax return. The copy of the tax return takes up to 60 days before it is sent to you. If you need the copy of your tax return for financial aid, bank loan etc. The accept the transcript. You can call 1-800-829-1040 and request the transcript also. |
