well, i can tell you from experience what to look for. find an accountant that is not old, young, or really busy. the older ones seem to be stuck in there ways and dont know alot about the newer issues brought on by taxes. the new ones just lack experience. the busy ones seem to be too busy for you. i have a good accountant, but she is so busy that it takes away from time she should spend with me. im currently looking for a new one myself. i think that i have found one in town. she has just opened her own company, but has experience from working at another well known company for a few years. i hope that i will be one of her early customers and she can spend the time with me that i need to get the most out of my money.

hope this helps

Only a CPA is truly qualified to do that. Insure they are CPA certified, ask for references, check them out carefully.

Be sure whoever you hire has international experience that you need. You may try searching for an accountant who was once in your situation. You may call an attorney who specializes in immigration for a referral.
