How much can of your tax money can be taken from child support arrears?

How much can of your tax money can be taken from child support arrears?

All of it.

All of it.

all of it plus in some states they can garnish your wages as well

All of it

well there you go all of it . its a shame there are dead beat fathers like you out there to even ask such a question it is your child he or she did not ask to be born so why don't you step up and be a real man and take care of your children the state should not have to make you do this it should be done willing and with love shame on you

100%. That will continue each year until the arrearages are fully paid.

Yes- that's right- ALL OF IT. And if you're married, and filing jointly with your new spouse- they can still take ALL OF IT. And if someone has a bank account with your name on it- and they are the primary account holder, they can still take ALL OF IT.
And they can and will garnish your wages.
AND if you are over $2500 (I think- it could be $2000) in the arrears, they can and will withhold use of your passport. And should you, for example, be in Tokyo at the moment, they can keep you from entering the country until you pay your child support.
Moral of the story- DON'T MESS WITH YOUR CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS!!!
