What is the 2008/2009 personal tax allowance?

Last year it was 拢5220, has it changed since then?

For 2008/2009 the personal allowance is 拢5435.

For people aged 65-74 the allowance is 拢9030. For people aged over 75 the allowance is 拢9180.

The married couples allowance for people born before 6/4/35 but aged under 74 is 拢6535. The married couples allowance for people aged over 75 is 拢6625.

The income limit for age related allowances (at which point the higher personal allowances start to be reduced) is 拢21800.
