In the UK is the minimum wage increase going to make a difference or is it just another con?

by the time tax has been deducted and taking into account living costs

Like all minimum wage increases, it will make little or no difference to the wage earner.

It will, however, make a major difference to those effected by the resulting rise in unemployment - when employers decide they have to cut payroll in order to stay in business.

just a con i think cos tax's will go up so you will not gain nothing , its well bad after you have payed out no you will not be better off , its`all a`con .
