If i am single and have two kids will i receive $600 and $300 for each child? The answer to your question depends on what your income was for 2007 that you filed on your tax return. If you are eligible, you'll get at least $300 for yourself, plus $300 for each child under 17 you claim as a dependent for 2007. If you paid more that $300 in net federal income tax, you'll get the amount of your tax up to a maximum of $600 for yourself, plus the $300 for the kids. |
