Turned 16 but no national insurance card/number??

Been about 3 weeks since my birthday and have lived in the UK all my life... Anybody have any suggestions about this :)?

MIne Didnt Come Until A Few Months After I Was 16, And Many Friends Too, Some Came Straight Away, So Wait A While And If Not Ring Them Up.

This happened to me aswell - I phoned them up after 2 weeks and told them whats going on. They sent me as forum within 2 days, filled that in then sent it back. The week after I was sent another form and had to fill that in and now am just waiting for my card to come through the letterbox

The forms only had a few questions mostly about your parents and thats it

They don't deliver. You have to apply for one at your local Job Centre Plus. Phone for an appointment and take some ID.

Everyone gets it sent out at different times. I got mine about three weeks before I was 16, one of my friends got it when he turned 15, another didnt get it until he requested it. Thats the best thing for you to do if you afre eagre to get your NI number. Visit HM Revenue and Customs website and you'll be able to request your NI number. Good Luck!!
