If i work 24 hrs per week on low income what help can i expect from hmg?

my working week is only 24 hrs,if i work 30 hrs i can claim working tax credit if i work 16 hrs i can still sign on so what help is there on my 24 hrs on low income?

aged 53 and married and by the way the anser to person about working more hours? there are,nt any more hours available so would you like me to go on claiming job seekers allowance...or at least try to work?

Why should they have to help you? Why not work longer hours like many other people do?

to get tax credits you need to work for 16 hours and have children or a disability.
otherwise you need to work for 30 hours.
You may qualify for housing benefit or council tax benefit there is no harm in claiming.
