CAn I get paid income tax back if I am leaving UK forever? |
Hi everyone, Could anybody please tell me whether I can get all my paid income tax for last 2 years back becoz I am going to India permanently after 2 months. I was here as a student in UK for past 2 years and have worked partime and sometimes full time as well. SO just wanted to know that can i get all my paid tax back. I know that NI contributions are not refunded. But what about income tax. If I can get it back please let me know from where and how should I apply for it? THanks a million . See my answer to Ravin M on page 2. thanks for the giggles . NO! Yes you can. You can contact your local HM Revenue & Customs office, or the one that your most recent employer use. You will need your NI number. I think you will get something back. |
