I just got a pay rise- an extra 拢30 a month - I have been with company for 1yr now - We have also been told th |
at our charge our rates will be increased. Is this a normal/average amount to be raised by (i know there is no set amount Just to say i work as a bookkeeper for a chartered accountants earning 21k now just risen to 21600 wrk hours normally 8.30- 50 but normally work from 7.50 till 5.00 - sometimes with no lunch - because we have a lot of work YOUR LUCKY AS NOT EVERYONE GETS A RISE,EMPLOYERS DONT HAVE TO GIVE PAY INCREASES. 1-you've only been there a year-you can't expect a huge raise your first review We usually get between 1.5 and 3 % rise. So as I don't know how much you earn I can't say. As the previous person put not everyone gets one, however you could always say to your boss I was hoping for a little more at this time because I am struggling to cope on my current wage. Maybe he/she could increase your level of responsibility? u got a good rise there as I only got a 3% rise this year which doesn't cover rate of inflation if you are worry get ur union reb involved ! |
