How long will it take to recive my tax return i sent it in yesterday? Three to five weeks. Hunny, are you on the ball Well considering you can't officially file until Jan 1, I would say that it would take til end of Jan 08 upto six weeks ive heard 2 days That wont get processed till after xmas, even if it arrives before. Depends on what way U filed You pretty much have control of that, the longer you wait the more you get. You could have gotten your federal taxes back as soon as you filed if you got it done at a tax office but of course they would have charged you for it, but other than that it will take about 2 weeks for your federal, and 2 and a half to 3 weeks for your state. Tax return? From what year? You can't file 07 until January 1st, 2008? And it depends if you filed it through the mail or electronically. Electronically about 10-14 days. Through the mail and filed early (I don't know about this early) 3-4 weeks. Since you're getting it in very early my best estimate would be 3-4 weeks from now. That's good time as it's usually 6 weeks or even later as the tax season rolls on. Start counting the days. by return of post This is clearly a UK taxes question, although some US answers have had a stab at it! Ah fengirl, ever the optimist! |
