Tax on my pay? |
this financial year i have earned 拢30.000 to date, the last 6 or 7 weeks my top line has been 拢1790 - taking home about 拢1350, last week i paid 34% tax (i worked it out) first week in jan i will be on basic weeks again, will i still have to pay this 34% tax for the rest of the year? ive worked it out that if i do no overtime from now till the end of the year i will be on 拢39000 unfortunatly, yes You do! show off i THOUGHT WE PAID 20% ON THE FIRST 2,000,AND 25% ON ANYTHING ABOVE THIS,OR HAS THE GOVERNMENT TAKEN US FOR ANOTHER LONG RIDE?.COME ON YOU TORIES,LABOURS TIME IS UP Dunno what your problem is. Us pensioners who had the forsight to put a bit away for our old age have to pay tax on that and my income is a damn sight less than yours, just be grateful that you have a job cos if you're not happy there are a lot of people in the dole queue that would willingly swap places with you. In a word. Quityergoddambitchin. Your salary now puts you in the 40% tax bracket and so, yes, this will be your tax rate for the whole of this year. |
