Does the uk government help enough the british companies??and how do they do it?

i assume they help through interest rates??
they also tent to loan out to british companies which are in need..e.g they done so to northern rock..
how else do they help the brtish businesses? is the control on import thight enough??what are the tax and tariffs on imports??

They don't - British companies that suceed do it despite the government.

Being in the EEC (european economic community) prevents the UK doing anything specifically for the UK - everything has to be europewide or not at all.

The UK government hate small business - we even have to pay our tax in *advance* - yes we pay tax at the start of the year on what the government guess we will make in that year!!

I don't know where we are supposed to get this money from (we ain't earned it yet!), but why should these overpaid, inexperienced clowns we call 'MPs' care?
