If i am makeing 480 a month how much tax ......? |
IF i am making a check of 480 a month how much tax would be deducted from that this is my 1st job and i am working part time i just want to know how much i really will be making so then i can balance some things out pleas help If you are receiving a check from your work place then they have already deducted the taxes. If you work for a company there should be a slip attached to your check explaining how much tax you have paid, even if you do not have that dont worry since you are working part time and probably are not old enough to claim yourself you are probably paying around 7-8% just for the social security, your parents are claiming you so they are the one paying your tax as soon as you get older and start making more, 1k a month, they can not claim you anymore thats when you start paying huge amount of taxes, around 30%. hope it helped! |
