Anyone know anythin about tax invoices?

i just got this job as a journalist. they want me to send them 2 tax invoices .. one's for my talent fee and one where i reimburse my expenses.. and then they said to attach the receipts..

where do i get this tax invoice? or do i make one myself? im confused..... :D i thought i would just give them the receipts and that's it hehe :p

I think you're in the US, so post it on the US site.
In the UK a tax invoice is used for VAT purposes.
I suspect that in the US they just mean an invoice which can be used for tax purposes.
this can be just a summary of the amount demanded.ie.

To: Talent Fee $200
Expenses per attached list $199

$399

Don't be afraid, it is nothing but a journal entry for the expenses made .. Debit the employer and credit expenses for talent and one.. thats all. pardon me if i am not correct and make another journal entry.
