It really depends on the job. I know people who would consider that a good wage. I know others who would say that is far too low.

It's good if you want to live paycheck to paycheck and not really ever have much. I make 17.75 an hour. After taxes,benefits and the minimum in 401k I bring home 425.00 a week-sad...really sad...I have 2 kids also. My rent is 800.00....so if you are alone...not good. if you have a hubby making some $$$$ then yeah-it's ok.
