Is Britain in its best financial moment?

Is Britain in its best financial moment?

No

No way!! We are just looking better than America. In the rest of the financial markets we are looking precarious!

The labour politicians would have you believe so, but as a country we are massively in debt and this can never be a good thing !!

Lord no!

is this a joke question?

I would laugh but the economic situation in this country is beyond that.

No way!

Especially not in Northern ireland we are having huge decreases in the budget and plus they are taking all our capital redceipts from house sales from the right to buy leaving us with nothing. grrrrrrrrrrr

Time for a rant.

Gordon Brown wanted to be seen as the best chancellor in modern history and he failed by a long shot. Our economy has been propped up by debt. Not our debt but by government debt. He borrowed more money than any modern day chancellor. He is also responsible for selling of most of our Gold reserves. Because of this poor Mr Darling has inherited a time bomb that is just started ticking. In the long run we will all have to pay for his overspending in the form of raised taxes. Probably not income tax but in other stealth taxes.
