Do you think that flat rate tax is the way forward? |
I have been working on a flat rate taxation model the Czech Republic are even considering it. Do you think that it could be the way forward. No. It is regressive, meaning that lower earners pay a higher proportion of their total income in tax. And it has no incentives to entrepreneurship, as no rewards for generating extra income. So whether you favour redistribution or enterprise, a flat tax is equally undesirable. No, I believe it should be no tax for the first 10k at all ,and nor NI ,this will help the lower paid ,who are the majority in this country, and then increase the corporation tax for businesses. |
