I am a private duty nurse Does each client need to provide me with 1099?

One client's accountant refuses to do this. What recourse do I have?

As the nurse, this is a non-issue for you. You track all of your income on your own and you are responsible for reporting the total on your taxes.

Whether or not a client gives you a 1099-Misc doesn't affect the fact that you still put all of your income on your taxes anyway.

I am assuming you are doing the work in the US as a US citizen or legal alien and simply made a mistake posting on the UK board rather than the US board.
