Employed, Self Employed - UK Tax Return.? |
I am currently employed on a permannet basis. In my spare time and weekends I am also doing some consultancy / project management work for 2 other companies. I am a little confused as exactily what section I need to fill out on on my UK take return. Do I fill out Q13, 'Other taxable Income' or 3.1 under 'Self Employment' ? I dont have a named business, I simply bill them in my own name and address. Would appreciate any advice you can give, thanks ! I had the same problem so i just took it to the tax office and let them deal with it because they fined me 拢100 for not filling the form in correctly the first time. Ask the Inland Revenue for their advice, get on the wrong side of them and you`ll regret it. Complete 3.1 on SE1. Yes, One Step Down From God is right. If you fill in box 13, the Revenue may start asking questions if you don't qualify it in the notes box, and it sounds proper to treat it as self-employment. |
