We've got lots of fat people here in the UK too.... and don't we all pay tax on food anyway? So people who eat more, pay more tax.

If we are going to pay more tax, lump even more on the ridiculous big "cars" that are cluttering up the roads in both countries.

Not all of us are fat we just have more and better food than other countries. Also fast food is why a lot of people are fat and they dont exercise which is stupid

Next they will want Americans to pay a sex tax, every time we have it. They will send out the sex tax people to make sure we pay check or credit card Uncle Sam wants your money.

There are fat people everywhere, not just in America. I've seen plenty of FAT Brits. And not everyone is fat here, I'm not even close. I think the real problem is it is much more expensive in America to eat healthy than it is to eat frozen pre-processed food. I can live on frozen dinners and fast food junk for less than half of what it costs to buy fresh fruits and veggies and meats to actually cook a real dinner.

If they are going to have to pay taxes, it should be for a good reason, like to help pay for all the food or something like that. If it were as serious of an epidemic as you make it seem, then it wouldn't be a bad way to get people to cut back.
