Should I include jobseekers allowance on my tax return? |
I was briefly claiming jobseekers allowance for a couple of weeks in the last tax year should I include it on my tax return? It says it counts as taxable income. Yes, there is a specific box on your Tax Return for it. Yes. It is income. Yes. It says so doesn't it? if it counts as taxable income then yes, you need to declare it. But if that's all you were 'earning' at the time, you're not likely to have earned enough to pay tax. You can earn up to about 拢4k a year without paying tax. So they probably won't charge you for that 2 weeks. All income from any source should be declared. |
