Will my daughter working part time affect my tax credits? |
Will my daughter working part time affect my tax credits? I wouldn' t have thought so. They only ask for your income and your partners income in the last tax year. So your daughter working PT wouldn't have any impact on your tax credit. I have already been through this with my daughter, she is in college & works part time & even though she is 16 I still receive child benefit for her. I have phoned the helpline & they told me if I was entitled to tax credits I would still receive that too. As long as she only works up to 23 hours a week it's her income not yours. |
