Please help? i thought it was cheaper? |
i phoned up tvv licence about cash entry card shceme thing anfd thought i could pay 拢11 a month for al icence, but it actually wors out deaer ythat if you buy a licence at 135 for the year surely? its 22.50 per month for6 months!?? s this right Am i better off bying the whole thing @ 135 for a year??????? x. the scheme your referring to is you pay 22.50 for six months, that buys that years tv licence, then the nest 6months will be 11.00 that menas when the nest one is due you are already 6 months in advance. x yeah thats right, it so that they can more or less get a year up front, thats what i had to do, i now pay 拢11.54 a month, and it goes straight out of my bank Im petty sure it is right. When I started on the scheme they charged me DOUBLE for the first year. It is just in case you fall behind in a payment on month then they will have their payment. I know it soulds as if you ar paying for one year of licence and not using it but if you ever move or decide to pay yearly by direct debit you will have the extra payments as a credit. If still in doubt, give them a wee phone call just to confirm. Good luck :-) Yes, it's right. Reason is that you're supposed to pay for your licence in advance, not in arrears. You're paying off this year's licence late, but you'll be up to date when next year's is due. |
