the tv licenincg offcie isngt open on a sasturday is it?

can someone please tell me, when going to post offioce 2 set up payment monthly thing, how do i do it? what do i dO?

my byofriend gave a false name when the guy come round, he said my girlfiends dealing with it, he asked for my name and stupidly he gave a false name, does that mean i have to sert it up in this false name or my real name,as long as theres a name recorded opening an accoutn at this address will they be bothered?

please i need to to it today!?

If i was you i would buy a licence A.S.A.P.
I use to work for the enforcement team of the t.v licencing office & they have ways to find out your real details i.e our names.
There really not to bothered as to who's name the licence is in as long as the address you live at has a valid licence.
The post office no longer deals with t.v licencing you should have a contact phone number to ring them on or check out there web-site.
You will probably be asked for bank details to pay via direct debit so dont give a false name use your own.
And tell them the name details they have are wrong & appologise for the missunderstanding!!

Nothing you can do today and they are all not working so leave it until first thing Monday.


First thing Monday: Call the licencing people and explain everything. Tell them you both had a lapse of reason. You'll be fine.

Depends how long you've had a TV without paying for a licence....

the post office does not deal with tv licenses,
use contact number from paperwork you were given
or try their online site to set it up .
you will need a bank account number to do it
i would sugest you answer some questions to get some more points in case you need to ask for more info
