Who else had an apology letter from the inland revenue today? |
regarding the stolen discs that have personal info on.......my friends got one, but i didnt! It no longer is the Inland Revenue, but HM Revenue and Customs these days. In its wisdom, a couple of years ago, the Government joined together the Inland Revenue, and Customs and Excise, and lumbered this department to deal with the credits. nah i didn't either. The Inland Revenue? I got one. Just the usual meaningless twaddle we have come to expect i did! they said they lost all mine and my families details!! I got one, waste of more bloody money if you ask me. mine got lost in the post .lol No, I haven't had one and the office where the mistake was made is only around the corner from where I live :-/ i havent had one either. you might get one in a few days if your friends have had one. they should send more than an apology letter though. theres far too many identities that have been put at risk because of their stupid mistake. yes i did this morning,it said my details were on one of the disc's that 'have gone missing'but that i should'nt worry,it said to keep an eye on my bank account for any trasactions not done by myself,it also said i said i should'nt change my bank account.......well excuse me but if my bank details are roaming around somewhere i think i should change my account number, would'nt you????? You are referring to which country's inland revenue? I'm confused. I didn't receive anything. no i didnt .........so they're sending out letters to apologise wouldnt the time be spent better trying to find the disks and stop people worrying? you me and another 22.999.998 It's Child Benefit claimants. If you've no kids under 16, or not one, you won't be on the missing discs. And they have not turned up on my desk. Well I get Child Benefit but I didn't get a letter. |
