How does someone pay rent in UK?

So, I am an American,
Thinking about moving to England.
Just out of curiosity, How does one pay rents?

what is different between flats and houses?
and I heard that one must pay rent per week?

I was just wondering how the rent system works,
and It seems Extremely expensive.

Anyone know what you might be able to rent
on a Computer Science Degree basis?

Hi,

Me and my dad live in a rented house and has been for 2 years.

If you do decide to move to England to rent a house or flat, you have to pay double then what you rent in a flat,

So say if a flat was 拢291 a month for a 1 bedroom, and then a house would cost double that amount for a 2 bedroom, and then a 3 bedroom would cost even more!

Plus, you've got council taxes to pay aswel.

Sometimes you can pay rent monthly, sometimes weekly, all depends what makes the landlord happy.

You can usually pay it through a bank book, you write your information out, go down to the bank, and then they transfer the money you owe to the landlords bank.

And as your on a science degree basis, some of these costs varies.

I only suggest you to look at a few rented flats and houses down england and see what you can find

I know this might sound mad but, the government have let the polish, Ukrainians, Turkish, etc foreigners in, so it could be impossible to find a rented immigration.

Good luck.

The same way we do in the United States....pay the man and live in the place.

Same way you do in America, pay the rent to the landlord or their agent.
They normally want a large deposit as security and maybe an employer reference.
There are loads of property websites, just Google the name of the town you are thinking of moving to.
