Do you mean your joint income is 拢53.50 a week?

when you say 拢53.5 I'm assuming you mean 拢53,500 per annum, please correct me if I'm wrong

If this is the case then your tax credits depend completely on the hours you and your partner work
over 16 and less than 30 means you can claim working tax credits which does provide help paying for childcare costs.
I doubt it would be very much though as i think the threshold is around the 拢60k mark

your best bet would be to contact tax credits as your claim amount depends completely on individual circumstances

A salary of 拢53.50 is rerally low. Do you mean a wage of 拢53.50? Salray is paid monthly and ususally quoted as an annual figure. A wage is paid weekly.

If you earning 拢53.50 a week jointley your probabley both working for a lot less than min wage, could you clarify

if you mean 拢53.50 a week you are definitely entitled if you mean 拢53500 a year you are definitely not
and if you are on 拢53500 you dont deserve to be you cannot even ask a simple question and anybody with a ounce of brain would realise the question cannot be answered without all the facts
