Why do some people get 拢100 and others 拢200 fuel allowance, why are they paid the higher rate please? okay, i know im a lame american, but all i want to say is i wish someone gave me $100 for fuel! that would be amazing....UK here i come! i dont get a penny got to pay all my fuel costs.!! Age. They get more if they are over 80. OK, from what I can gather, married couples get 拢100 each, single people get 拢200. It's paid to over 60's in the UK, to help with home heating cost's, in November or December. Single home occupiers over 60 get 拢200, 2 occupiers in the same household (if both over 60) get 拢100 each.
