Tax Credits and help with Childcare........UK ONLY ANSWERS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!?

My brothers girlfriend is claiming working tax credits and child tax credits.

She is claiming she is working 16hrs per week. She is infact doing overtime every week upto 40hrs per week.

She is claiming help with childcare costs and getting childcare for her son from 8am till 6pm 5 days per week, even when she's not working the 5 days???

She gets this for 拢50.00 per week.

My brother has since spilt with her and wants to know can we report her for falsely claiming these benefits?

We've just seen her in the town, again without her son, shopping with loads of bags. Milking the money in and her son is stuck in childcare all week.

Advice?

Ok they where not living as a couple as she was claiming she was single. So her money wont increase.

She is also stopping him seeing the child and we're unsure he is actually the father in the first place.

Of course you can shop her, but it smacks of petty viciousness rather than 'do-goody'. If you were really do-gooders you'd have stopped her when you first knew her, not dob her in when your brother has finished with her.

If this is just being done out of spite, it reflects on you as nasty spiteful people. Can you live with that?

but they will only increase her tax credit to what she needs.
when my gf & i split for a while they gave her 拢185 pw child care costs as she was now single.

Im sure she has already found it in her favour to say she is single.

Edit: at one stage during our split as well as working & earning 拢420 per week she got the 拢185pw & i was giving her 拢150 per week thinking she was skint.

now we are married we get no where near that from tax credits.
