Interview for graphic design. How should I prepare? |
I really need this job...lol. so does anyone have any good tips on how to get this job. its a entry level graphic design. and he wants me to bring in my portfolio. bring in a variety? graphic designs is a killer job... trust me, I've been doing it for over 10 years. One of the best methods I've known is to imitate the company; by that I mean try to pick up their trends and base your portofolio on that. Now it's always good to diversify and have a second portofolio with some of your own ideas... but keep this one separate (kinda like a second side of your talents). Prepare your best work, and most imortant, KEEP THEM ALL ORGANIZED... this will help u a lot in showing how meticulous you can be. Also, during your interview, focus on minute details and show you know your stuff (e.g.: font names, colors, and other technical stuff. As for your talent and inspiration, joke and say you're a "dreamer" and that your psychological profile tells you that you're a Visual Mathematician... Good Luck!~ yea tat;s a good idea |
