Is it ok to mail an job application and resume?

it's not for an really professional job
it's for a part time position at a supermarket...

Go in person and give it to them... you can rely on mail if you want it to reach 3-5 days later.

It's okay to mail it but how much attention do you think it's going to get? It's a piece of paper, no face to go with it. In person is always best...even if it's just a part time job, and always follow up on it too. Keep going back (in person) and ask if they have filled the position yet and let them know you are still interested in working with them. If they get tired enough of looking at you every day, they'll most likely hire you.

I already experience that thing but I don't get any response from them. So, better go in person so you can present yourself very well and they can decide if your fit on the job your applying.
